The Chico Project does not have 501(c)(3) status. Thus, we are not currently performing any fundraising activities, nor are we accepting monetary donations of any kind.

That said, we are still working diligently to try and serve the needs of our community - as the legal constraints placed on our activities will allow.

The company that supplies the equipment we hand out does not typically sell directly to the public. We are one of a handful of similar organizations that is able to acquire the masks, however, and we are grateful that they are wiling to help us in our pursuits.

While we can't offer any tax benefits, we are still able to help anyone interested in doing so put together a kit of their own - a kit which they can then turn and give to a crew in their area. In it's current incarnation, this is the crux of how the Chico Project of Greater Washington helps: we assist animal-friendly people like you put together everything needed to help your local fire fighters assist animals who've been injured.

If you are interested in hearing more about the process, or if you already know you want us to help you get things rolling, please use the contact form link on the left to send us a note.

The Chico Project is currently seeking volunteers in Maryland, Virginia and DC.

The Chico Project is currently in need of a logo. If you are a graphic designer and would like to donate your talents, please get in touch.

Fire departments interested in receiving masks should contact the group. All inquiries are welcome.
